Why We Hike

Africa’s Highest Peak, Your Deepest Purpose

Kilimanjaro is not just a mountain. It is a test of everything you are made of. Twelve days through farmland, rainforest, alpine desert, and glaciers to stand at 19,341 feet, the roof of Africa. You will push past exhaustion, doubt, and thin air. And you will do it alongside women who believe that friendship is worth climbing for. Every step you take on that mountain funds real friendships between teen volunteers and children with special needs. This is the hardest thing you will ever love.
