Dr. Eve Band Ph.D., clinical psychologist who specializes in working with individuals with high-functioning Autism and Asperger's Syndrome and their families. Dr. Band is also the author of “Autism Through a Sister’s Eyes

Mrs. Elaine Terner, founder of a residential design firm, Exceptional Designs Inc., which creates "Special Places for Special People", and mother of a 29 year old with Autism.
   
  Synagogue & School: How to approach synagogue clergy and school faculty about their sensitivity to our children
  December 22nd - 8pm EST
Mrs. Tzirl Goldman, founder of the Crown Heights branch of Friendship Circle, mother of a child with special needs and recent nominee as a finalist in the MLB/People Magazine All Stars Among Us Contest. Mrs. Goldman and her husband currently run the Chasdei Zahavi Foundation which assists Crown Heights parents of children with special needs in paying for their education.
   
  Protecting your Child Legally and Financially: Financial planning for parents of special children
 

February 16th - 8pm EST
Andrew M. Cohen Esq., principal of the Law Offices of Andrew M. Cohen in Manhattan, charter member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners and father of three daughters, one of whom has multiple disabilities. His law practice focuses on Trusts & Estates with an emphasis on planning for families of special children.

Mitchell I. Weisbrot CLU, special needs planning professional at Northwestern Mutual, and a member of the Autism Society of America – Suffolk Chapter of New York. Mr. Weisbrot has three sons on the autism spectrum and is dedicated to serving children with special needs and their families.
